Tournament Starts Today

Morning Everyone-

Well it's 9:45 am here in Costa Rica and today is the first day of the tournament. Yesterday we had our second day of practice yesterday which went well for everyone. I'm feeling quite comfortable on the courts and like how hard I am hitting the ball, and my shots are staying low as well.

Last night we had opening ceremonies which was nice. I didn't really understand a lot since it was in spanish but it was still pretty cool. I have some pictures from opening ceremonies but am not sure how to upload them. As soon as I figure that out I will put some pictures up.

The round robin begins today. The round robin determines the seeding for the elimination play which I believe begins on Wednesday. Jackie and I play at 5:00 pm today. Since all of Team USA is seeded the round robin matches generally are pretty straight forward matches but really you never can tell. I know the Men's Doubles will be playing Costa Rica tonight at 7:00 which should be a good one to watch. It will be a packed house I'm sure and they will not be rooting for USA!!

I know that racquetballonline.tv is here filming so you all will be able to watch us play, so make sure you check out the site!

Have a good day!
Aimee
